Professor Kaplan is the William N. and Marie A. Beach Professor of Management Sciences at the Yale School of Management, Professor of Public Health at the Yale School of Medicine, and Professor of Engineering in the Yale School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. He is also an elected member of both the National Academy of Engineering and the Institute of Medicine.
As an author of over 150 articles, Professor Kaplan's research is internationally known and addresses important issues of the day such as AIDs policy in Israel, to problems in counterterrorism and homeland security.
