Joan Feigenbaum’s research areas include: algebraic graph theory, cryptographic complexity theory, authorization and trust management, massive data streams, distributed algorithmic mechanism design, accountability, anonymity and privacy, and computer science and law. She became a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science in 2012 and of the Association for Computing Machinery in 2001. In 2012, she was named a Connecticut Technology Council Woman of Innovation.
