Emma Hamilton Dancing

Born in Birmingham, Alabama about 1904, Charles Edward Moss married Patricia Elizabeth Wilson, a native of North Carolina, in 1926. Together they had children named Gabrielle, James, and Charles, Jr. Sometime after 1920 he moved north from Alabama with his mother, Gabrielle. In 1930 he was living in Milford, Connecticut, and his occupation was student. In the 1931 Milford city directory, he was listed as a student and pastor of the First Baptist Church of Milford on Governors Avenue. It is likely that Moss died sometime between 1931, when he graduated from the Yale Divinity School, and 1940. In the 1940 census, Patricia and their three children were living in Philadelphia, where she died in 1970.
