Emma Hamilton Dancing

Born in Beaufort, South Carolina in 1869, Andrew Murray Robinson attended Beaufort public schools and received a BA from Lincoln University in 1891 before entering Yale Law School. After completing his degree at Yale in 1896, Robinson returned to Beaufort, and then settled in New York City. In 1899, he married Theresa Willis.

As of 1927 when the Yale Alumni Office last heard from him, he was working in real estate in New York. According to classmate George McMechen, Robinson became blind sometime in the late 1920s. It is not known when he died, but he was still living in New York at the time of the 1950 census.
