Adriane Steinacker, Ph.D.

Senior Lecturer, Department of Physics

Prior to teaching physics at Yale University, Adriane Steinacker worked at NASA Ames Research Center, publishing research on space physics, planet formation, and the magnetohydrodynamics of accretion disks. In addition to teaching a wide variety of undergraduate courses, from History of Astronomy to Astrobiology to Solar System Dynamics, she has also taught Scientific Communication for Physicists. In 2019, she received Yale’s Poorvu Family Fund for Academic Innovation Award.
