Jung-Eun Kim, Ph.D.

Jung-Eun Kim’s research interests include cyber-physical systems, machine learning for cyber-physical systems, safety-critical systems, real-time systems, timing safety, smart cities and internet of things. Her current research topics include issues arising from incorporating learning applications into cyber-physical systems. She is a Co-PI on an NSF SaTC award 2020–2023 and she was awarded an NVIDIA GPU Grant in 2018. She was selected for MIT EECS Rising Stars 2015 and was a recipient of the Richard T. Cheng Endowed Fellowship for 2015–2016 from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
