Laura Flora Garnjobst (1895–1977), Ph.D.
Laura Garnjobst was a microbiologist and geneticist. At Yale, she was Research Associate to Nobel Laureate Edward Tatum (1946–1948). At the Rockefeller Institute she served as Associate Professor of Microbiology while doing research on cell mutation. She published on the genetics of Neurospora crassa with Edward Tatum. She was a member of the Genetics Society and the American Genetic Association.
