Lois Clark (1884–1967), Ph.D.

Lois Clark was a botanist and bryologist. She was a graduate student at Yale 1907–1908, studying under hepaticologist Alexander William Evans (1868–1959). She received her PhD in botany at the University of Minnesota in 1919, for her dissertation on the embryology of Podophyllum peltatum. In 1928, she co-authored, with Theodore Christian Frye (1869–1962), The Liverworts of the Northwest.
