Warren Westmoreland Purdy

Warren Westmoreland Purdy was born in Americus, Georgia in 1897, the child of Carrie Warren and Dave V. Purdy. He received a BA from Lincoln University in 1920, and entered the Yale Law School in 1921. During his time at Yale, he lived at 178 Dixwell, the address also listed for his classmate Wilmer Tyson Shamborguer. In the spring of his first year at Yale Law School, he became ill with a pulmonary condition, returned to Georgia, and passed away in June 1922.
