Stephanie Hanes Wilson is a journalist who has travelled across the world documenting the intersections of culture, climate, and environmental sustainability. Her 2017 book, White Man’s Game: Saving Animals, Rebuilding Eden, and Other Myths of Conservation in Africa, won critical acclaim for its critique of traditional Western conservation efforts. She teaches at the Yale School of the Environment and consults widely for groups looking to work cross–culturally to achieve environmental goals.
